Lexi White finds herself at a crossroads. After putting everything on hold to care for her ailing father, it’s finally time for her to start living her life again. An exciting new job holds the promise of a fresh start, until she comes face to face with someone from her past who has always stopped her dead in her tracks, and who evidently still has the power to make her forget her own name. This time around, Lexi’s a grown woman who refuses to back away from her dreams, even if it requires working with her old high school crush. Side by side. Every day. Will he end up being her downfall or exactly what she needs?Vincent doesn’t even remember Lexi from high school, but he begins to take notice when the fiery young woman is hired as his new assistant. Quickly, Lexi turns his world upside down and becomes an invaluable addition not only to his team, but to his life. Having learned a few hard lessons about trust in the past, Vincent is reluctant to let down his guard, especially when it appears that someone is out to sabotage his family’s advertising agency. Professionally, they are dynamite together, but when sparks fly between them personally, will Vincent let lies and jealousy ruin everything between them, or will he finally learn not only how to love, but ultimately trust...in advertising?

Review copy provided by publisherWhy I Read this Book: I loved Boycotts & Barflies . It was hilarious, sweet, fun and all-in-all, a great contemporary romance novel. When I heard of Trust in Advertising and read the blurb, I knew this was the book for me. What I Liked: The authors writing style is smooth and fluid. Its easy to fall into the story and have half a day wiz right by you. I read this book in 3 days and the only reason it took me that long was because it was my treadmill read.WOW! This book was just wow. I thought that it was going to be boring but damn it was a good book with a great sense of humor. I laughed so many times. I loved all the characters except the EVIL Jade. She really pissed me off I just wanted to tell Vincent to stop being such an ASSHOLE and dump her ass. But no with his insecurities he had to dump her at the end of the book. I really wished the author had gotten them (Lex & Vin) together like half way through the novel. But then again there
This book seemed to take off a little slow for me and I wasn't 100 % sure where it was going, but I'm glad I kept reading. Lexi was an awesome character. Her family values and strong will to succeed make her impressive in comparison to other female characters I've read. And Vincent...the dreamy, arrogant, sexy boss. I had a love/hate relationship with this character. He seemed so easy to love but understandably easy to hate at time. The story wasn't just a love story, but a drama filled with

Awwieee! Such a fucking cute book!I love how Lexi's been in love with Vincent since like 12 years or something! How bloody adorable!! :DLexi is just so asdfghjkl! :D Selfless, loving, kind and so freaking nice!Vincent has trust issues, Hell anyone would if they went through what he did..Jade is like the biggest whore on earth! Reid is a bloody wierdo! :PI loved all the Drakes and Hope and Sean! Absolutely loved the story! Its so cute and romantic and shows you the kindness of people and how
This is a decently entertaining story. The author does a good job of building and growing the relationship between Lexi and Vincent and I like how both characters are better and stronger because of it. And as she mentions it more that a few times in the book, the characters do have a witty banter between them. The sub characters are also fun. That being said, having lived in SF and having spent most of that time in a career in advertising, Victoria Michaels doesn't really take advantage of either
"I wont lie to you. We arent going to ride off into the sunset together and have everything fixed overnight. I know that, and I think you do too. But Im willing to work at it, if you are. I do love you. I mean that with every cell in my body, every breath that I take. I think youre worth it; I think were worth it. I think you could be the great love of my life, Vincent Drake."Well, I have to say that 'Trust in Advertising', despite its 'unique' title, managed to bring itself to my favorites
Click on the banner to read my review on my website. I was bad this week and reread a book when I am on a deadline to finish two other books. But I couldn't help myself. I wanted to revisit Lexi and Vincent, two of my old friends. This book is like comfort food for me. But see? I'm being good and finally writing down my thoughts on this one after reading it first almost 3 years ago. Trust in Advertising is one of the books I go to when I want something sweet. It makes me smile and leaves me
