If there is at all such a genre as a vampire novel, this book is definitely not a typical one, and those who like to read vampire stories will certainly enjoy the uniqueness of this novel. The only apparent cliché is the origin of one of the characters from Transylvania. Other than that most of the building blocks of the story are fresh and original. In her book, D.M.
