So look, I haven't read anything by Melinda Leigh before and I was lucky enough to score a copy from Net Galley. Awesome, right?Except, it's kinda not.I'm sorry. I really wanted to like this. I have not read the Scarlet Falls series that was published before this, so some of the connections were not clear at the beginning of the book, but it did not diminish the enjoyment I had while listening to this book.
