Narration Toward Books Scribbler of Dreams

Romeo and Juliet had the right idea. About dating the enemy that is. They were true to their hearts.

Kaitlin Malone know what it's like to date the enemy. She was raised to hate the Crutchfields, and absolutely does - until she meets Bram Crutchfield. It turns out he's a great guy - one she could talk to, share things with...even love. But when Kaitlin gives her heart to Bram, her world spins out of control. Soon the Crutchfields are her friends and she's a traitor to her own family.

To make things worse ,Bram was raised to hate the Malones, especially Kaitlin's father - who murdered Bram's dad. Bram doesn't know Kaitlin is a Malone. If he did he would hate her, too.

What's a star-crossed lover to do?

Discuss Containing Books Scribbler of Dreams
One of things I enjoyed the most about this story was how poetic is was written. I feel like the author has a knack for that. I also felt like the story flowed well and for the most part it was engaging to me, but I also felt like it was missing something that I can't quite put my finger on. There is a murder, deception, mystery all in this story which is what drew my attention to the story in the first place. I felt that for that part of the story it felt a little inadequate. I guess I was just

Maggie Crutchfield makes one small mistake, having a baby without the presence of a husband, and her sister Amanda Crutchfield Malone absolutely shuns her and refuses to ever speak to Maggie again. This is how the Crutchfields and Malones began to hate each other and create their feud. Five generations later Kaitlin Malone and her sister, Abby, are starting a new high school with their mother's maiden name, Hampton. This school just so happens to be owned by the very wealthy Crutchfield family.

Katelin Malone has been trained since birth to hate the Crutchfield family. However, when her father ends up in jail for a murder he did not commit, she doesn't have to rely on her years of training to hate them anymore.... Until Bram Crutchfield comes along and changes everything for her. Now she's torn between a love she's not supposed to feel, and a past she doesn't know if she believes in any more.I picked this book up at the Scholastic Warehouse sale for $1 and that's the only reason I

A more modern day Romeo & Juliet. I love the characters. I love the story. I love the twists and turns the author wrote in. It's just an all around amazing read and I absolutely intend to read it again soon.I first read Scribbler of Dreams when I was in around the 6th grade. It was a book I automatically fell in love with after reading it, but for the longest time afterwards I couldn't recall what it was titled. All I knew was what little bits I could remember of the story and I had a few

First non-school assigned book I ever read. I picked it up on a whim when the annul mobile library came to our school. This book marked my love for storytelling. I've read it countless times and remains one of my favorite books to this day. Highly recommend.

I first read this around 1999-2002 when I was in junior high. I thought it was intense, emotionally-charged, and poetic back then.Re-read 2017:Why I Recommend Bumping This DOWN On Your TBR: It's purely entertaining. The moral isn't life-altering; I might even argue that it's not important at all. The protagonist continues to lie throughout the book, hurting multiple people, and this is never resolved outside of her saying at the end that lying is harmful. This is a sad portrayal of love, and

I really really really enjoyed this book! The book was kind of a romance book, but it also had a bit of mystery to it. I loved how the author made up the story of how they met, and that they both were artists of some kind. It was really cool that Bram and Kaitlin connected in that way. I think others would enjoy the book "Scribbler of Dreams" because it is a story about two lovers who in the end try to bring their two different families together.
