Write-Up Epithetical Books Infinity in the Palm of Her Hand: A Novel of Adam and Eve
June 27, 2019 - It's not grabbing my interest. Maybe another time.

In this book, Belli shares a creative story through the eloquent use of the Spanish language and the innate naivety of children-like protagonists. The premise of this book is rather unique: a non-Christian retelling of the creation story outlined in Genesis. Unfortunately, I believe that this book could cause some readers to confuse secular entertainment with Biblical truth if not careful.

It took me almost two days after finishing this book to put into words what I thought about it. A retelling of Adam and Eve, it stumbles at times and is tinged with modern sensibilities. It's easy to read but not an easy read, if that makes sense. What made me, in the end, like this book is that It builds on itself, running up to an unexpected ending that recasts the story of Adam and Eve. Recommended for hardcore literary-philes and those who do not view the Bible as an unimpeachable authority.

Infinity in the palm of her hand. Regardless of the fact that she based an unauthentical story of her own on one of the most frequently discussed stories of all time i.e how human race sprouted on earth, the way she relayed the made up things with the real things makes you stop and admire this book.The ending is well, unexpected. I sense that she tried satisfying both parties, the religious and the Darwin's people. This book is honestly one of its kind and I don't have to agree with the author's
