Best Stefan's Diaries so far! For the Damon fansDamon plays a bigger part in The Asylum . That was nice! The Salvatore Brothers are working togheters to fight against their mutual enemy. Other things I liked: Cora! Such an amazing girl. London! The Benefit BallJames, who provides them with his wisdom and products. I love Damon way more than Stefan, so how could I not love this book. Curious about the way the Serie will end. I hope it will be with the brothers defeting Henry+Samuel and afterI really love the show , so actually reading the books makes the show more interesting with more details. The Asylum is about an old vampire named Samuel , who wants to take revenge towards them which it would affect their current lives and ruined. Which as you know the Salvatores brothers would not let this happen so they would joined forces to defeat Samuel with the help of a human named Cora.
I think it was great because the writer of this story really made me feel I was there in the book, and made me feel I was one of the characters in the story, and when I read half of the book, I think it was very creative that the writer said there was a secret space in the London tower where there was a wizard! And some chapters has really dramatic scenes like when Stefan's friend Violet after turned into a vampire, she thinks that it's fine to be a vampire and when before Stefan meant that he

Omg this book was torture. Use a fucking thesaurus ffs. How many times can you use the word hiss??? The writing was terrible and I am so sick of this Jack the Ripper and Samuel shit. No wonder they only wrote one more of these books after this. The first two were great and it just went downhill from there.
♦♦♦MINI SPOILER ALERT♦♦♦I am glad to be reading this books now because I can pick up reading the next one as soon as I am done with the other, if not the waiting would have been excruciating. The last books of the Stefan's Diaries (4,5,6) are a page turning end to the other because they always end at a great moment. It took me 3 days to read it because i had just too many interruptions, but it is really short and I could have read it in a day because the action just doesn't let you put it down.
Another book in the series from the show's creators and based on the mythologies behind The Vampire Diaries's show. As always, a better read even if in a more compact manner, than the original series. Damon, seems a bit flatter in personality than they have been betraying him, and of course more so than the reader really knows from watching the show, but the stories are told through Stefan's pov and echo well to the character's in the show. Good, quick read on a week when the show is on hiatus.
